The Secret Agenda of Trees
Check out my review of the current production at The Wild Project, The Secret Agenda of Trees. Set in a rural meat-packing plant, the play offers a bleak, but thankfully not dire and hopeless rendering of abject American poverty. Though its performances are not completely even and its pacing suffers some in the second half, eloquent set, lighting and sound design, and a stellar lead performance make this well worthwhile.
